it’s the little things

This week was a trying one. It began with a two and a half hour wait in line for ballet registration and ended with a call from school to come pick up a feverish Coco. The heat in the Val has been hideous and that combined with the usual, and some unusual, stresses of life have got everyone pretty beat. But after spending the day home in the air conditioning nursing Coco back to health, I couldn’t help but see some pretty things around my house that made me happy. Of course it didn’t hurt that I FINALLY found a place to shoot in my house/cave with great light which made me even happier. So here’s a piece of my happy, I hope you get some for yourself this holiday weekend.
