Coconut & Bean is a lifestyle blog about keeping a sense of self and style in the beautiful fog that is young motherhood.
Before going domestic in the San Fernando Valley, I lived in Los Angeles working as a fashion stylist.
Now instead of celebrities, commercial actors and musicians I dress two little monkeys-Elle, 7 , (Ellybean, the Bean, Bean) and Coco, 4 , (Coconut, Cokes), for who this blog is named.
I believe you do not have to sacrifice comfort for style and that life is for living.
My sweet tooth is insatiable, as is my desire for the perfect pair of jeans, a stylish heel that’s not as high as the sky (I’m 6′), and the kind of fun that makes you spit your food out when you laugh. A good concert is my church and my friends are like family.
