There is a sweet little shop up the street from me called the Bead Lounge. They carry a zillion different kinds of beads, make one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, offer classes and parties and are so lovely you find yourself spending way more time than you have just browsing, chatting, and being inspired. They also do minor jewelry repairs, which is why I was in the other day. They returned my necklace to me in a little plastic bag with the end sticking out because if you put necklaces in your jewelry box, dish, or small plastic bag with the end sticking out, it will not knot. So there you have it, my first installment of Random & Helpful-little tidbits of unsolicited advice that are just that.
